Ransomware Teams Declare Hits on Hyundai Motor Europe and a California Union

Hyundai Motor Europe and a California union individually this week revealed that they had suffered cyberattacks final month and misplaced information to the respective menace actors.

Black Basta, a gaggle that first appeared in 2022 as a double-extortion operator, claimed to have stolen 3TB of information from Hyundai Motor Europe. The carmaker has not confirmed it suffered a ransomware assault, nor the boasts by Black Basta.
