Some googling suggests it is because Apple’s man is utilizing mandoc as an alternative of roff or any variant thereof, and that mandoc would not help formatting within tables.
I do not notably care that I am not getting all of the formatting meant for this man web page, because it seems to be high-quality and utterly readable. However I do not need all the rubbish displayed after I exit the person web page.
How can I do away with this?
(I am open to options which might suppress the error, options which might drive man to make use of groff or related so I get all formatting, and options which might exchange man completely so it is now not hardcoded to make use of mandoc.)
